1- What is the Nationwide Repair Warranty and how is it different from Roadside Assistance?

  • The Nationwide Repair Warranty is a warranty on certain repairs for consumers, which covers parts and labour for work done in your shop for a period of 12 months or 24,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).
  • Roadside Assistance is a complementary service to the Nationwide Repair Warranty and is available 365 days of the original repair. More details in the Roadside Assistance section.
  • Eligible repairs in a Uni-Pro garage are covered by the Nationwide Repair warranty when traveling beyond a 40 km radius from the original repair shop.
  • The vehicle owner must contact the program administrator at 1-855-276-9307.
  • If the vehicle breaks down within a 40 km radius of your shop, it will need to be towed back to your shop and repair will go through regular labour warranty.

Wherever the vehicle owner is in Canada and the United States, if the vehicle requires the same repaire, caused by a defective part originally installed in your shop, the vehicle owner will receive a refund of the least expensive invoice between the original and the new one.

4-How much will it cost me?

5- How does it work for my consumers?

If your customer has car problems beyond a 40 km radius of your shop and wants to use his warranty, he should contact the Nationwide Repair Warranty Team.

Note: in all cases, the second repair must always be the same as the first in order to qualify for this protection.

  • By calling the Nationwide Repair Warranty Team, they will be assisted by an agent who will send a tow (if necessary) and redirect them to the nearest repair shop (priority will be given to the nearest Uniselect shop).
  • Once the repairs are completed at the second repair shop, your client will be required to pay the repair bill in full. If the second repair is identical to the original repair, your customer will need to send both the original and replacement invoice to the Nationwide Repair Warranty Administrator.
  • The claim can only be made by the vehicle owner and reimbursement can only be made to the vehicle owner (no claims on behalf of a repair shop will be accepted).

6- How does my consumer submit his claim?

The consumer will need to contact the Nationwide Repair Warranty team by phone to open a file and obtain a tracking number:
