How do you calculate my available equipment fund?
You automatically earn ¼ of 1% (0.25%) of your Uni-Select product (USI Lines) purchases through your Uni-Select Merchant Member. Amounts are cumulated as such for five years.
You can also increase your fund when buying a Mäktig equipment and tools only. The fund will go from 0.25% to 0.40%, if and only if the shop acquires Mäktig* equipment and tools. See an example in the tab below:

What can I use this fund for?
The fund can be used as a subsidy to pay a maximum of 50% of the price of tools and equipment only purchased through your Uni-Select Merchant Member, up to the amount available in your fund.
How can I earn money on my equipment funds?
Money is automatically added to your funds, as long as you make your purchases through your Uni-Select Merchant Member. Increase your accumulated fund by 60% when purchasing Mäktig tool and equipment.
Once a year, you will receive a fund account balance status.
How often does my equipment fund get renewed?
Your fund gets renewed every 5 years. A new five-year period will begin afterward.
The actual cycle is from January 1st, 2020 until December 31st, 2024.
Please claim your available funds whenever you need before October 31st, 2025, otherwise, you’ll lose the amount.
How do I claim my funds? Where should I send my invoices and/or other documents?
You simply have to send your invoices for tools and equipment purchased through your Uni-Select Merchant Member directly to the Uni-Select ASP Service Center:
A credit will be issued by your Uni-Select Merchant Member.
When can I claim my cumulated equipment funds?
At all times throughout the 5-year period, you may use your fund as a subsidy to pay a maximum of 50% of the price of tools and equipment only purchased through your Uni-Select Merchant Member.
However, please note that your claim has to be made during the year of the purchase. For instance, you cannot claim your fund if your purchase has been made two years ago, even if the claim is done before the end of the 5-year period.
Amounts that remain unclaimed after the 5-year period are lost and a new 5-year period begins.
The deadline for the current cycle (January 1st, 2020, to December 31st, 2024) will be October 31st, 2025.
How can I inquire about my equipment funds balance for the current period?

You’ll receive a letter in the first months of each year that will indicate the eligible amount for your shop as well as other earned benefits (e.g., Loyalty Rebates).
What are the basic criteria to secure equipment funds?
You must purchase a minimum of $50,000 per year through your Uni-Select Merchant Member.
What are the delays to expect to receive my equipment funds reimbursement?
Please expect a delay of 60 days from the reception date of your tools and equipment invoices.

What percentage of the value of the purchased equipment does Uni-Select pay back with the equipment funds?
Uni-Select pays a maximum of 50%, up to the amount available in your equipment funds. Equipment must be purchased from the Uni-Select Merchant Member sponsoring the shop.
Calculation example with $1,000 in available funds
Equipment purchased at $900
50% of $900 = $450
Uni-Select pays that 50% ($450) and the balance (in this case $450) is payable by the shop
Equipment purchased at $2,000
50% of $2,000 = $1,000
Uni-Select pays that 50% = $1,000 (which also means that the totality of the fund has been used). The balance (in this case $1,000) is payable by the shop, and the latter does not have any more funds to be used until he starts accumulating again.
